Lectrosonics has been working closely with the major ENG camera manufacturers to clarify some issues with the use of the new dual channel slot receiver - the SR.

Not all cameras have two audio channels enabled in the slot. At present Lectrosonics is providing an adapted version, the SR-5P, to allow full access to two discrete audio channels in the slot. Modification of some cameras will be required to enable the original SR to work at its full capability in the slot provided. Until such time, the adapted or "wart" version SR-5P is available to allow dual channels.

The original version of the SR can be externally mounted on cameras or used in audio bags without any alteration with great stereo results.

Lectrosonics has released the long awaited SR Dual Channel Camera Slot wireless diversity receiver.

Weighing in at only 195 grams , this slim and sleek SR is arriving at Soundequip next week. It offers two independent channels and fits into the standard video camera slots found on professional cameras. The two audio channels can feed separate inputs or can be mixed internally to feed a single input. Various adaptors are available to use the SR with different camera slots and stand-alone use.
